KARIN NEIDEL

Pilates Instructor

Movement has been a constant in Karin’s life, beginning with her first dance steps at age three, followed by basketball and soccer by age five, and continuing with Pilates and Yoga into her forties.

Her journey with movement has been a blend of joy, competition, setbacks from injury, meaningful connections, and a growing curiosity about the body and mind’s capabilities.

Karin graduated in 2001 with a degree in Myofascial/Massage Therapy and spent over 20 years specializing in techniques such as Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Reiki, Pregnancy Massage, Cupping, and Aromatherapy. It was during massage therapy school that she was first introduced to yoga, which sparked her interest. She completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Lotus Gardens Yoga School in 2006, and since then, has attended numerous postgraduate workshops in both Massage Therapy and Yoga. This hands-on experience allows her to guide clients on their paths to health, healing, and movement.

After foot surgery in 2016, it was physical therapy and Pilates that helped Karin regain balance and return to her routine. Inspired by her recovery, she became deeply involved in Pilates, earning her Pilates Certification (PMA, NCPT) in 2017, focusing on body awareness, strength, conditioning, and balance.

Following her second shoulder surgery in 2021, Karin chose to retire from massage therapy. During this challenging time, Yoga and Pilates helped her navigate the uncertainty and continue her healing journey. Still passionate about helping others, she pursued further education in the LYT Yoga method, a physical therapy-based approach to yoga.

Karin’s lighthearted attitude and focus on optimal movement patterns make her classes both fun and encouraging. Join her to discover strength, mobility, and confidence!
